Our route after leaving Funchal take us to Câmara de Lobos to reach the glass platform, being our first stop at Cabo Girão. The terraces, fishing village, and Funchal can be seen from a height of 580m / 1902ft in a way that's truly breathtaking.

Still with that view in mind, we keep going for a combination of motorway, old and secondary roads to arrive at the magnificent bay of Ponta do Sol. We'll begin our journey from sea level up to the mountain at 1400m / 4593ft after enjoying the sea and coastal views.

We go with a relaxed pace while still experiencing enthusiasm and adrenaline thanks to the unique Off-road route through the eucalyptus forest. A short and easy walk with stunning views of the southwest coast can be achieved, depending on the weather or our morning plans.

The plateau will be our route to reach the desired century-old trees in Fanal forest. The fog that surrounds almost the time this UNESCO World Heritage site is a magical sight, and it always adds a unique touch to the beautiful photos that can be captured there.

After leaving that captivating world, we continue our tour to a stunning viewpoint with an incredible view of the northwest coast.

The distinct and stunning rock formation we'll encounter on our way to Porto Moniz, which nature has meticulously worked on, deserves a bunch of attention. Having several options available at Porto Moniz. The typical way to spend time there is by stopping to swim for an extended period in the natural lava pools, or by stopping for lunch and enjoying the pools for a brief duration.

We will be going to Seixal to see the beautiful and unique black sand beach after leaving that magnificent place. From there, we will see countless waterfalls before reaching São Vicente, where we will make our final stop.

In order to finish this stunning Jeep tour, we will begin our journey back to Funchal.
