Madeira Island from everybody to everybody?

We do not make these types of comments or publications, but the situation is troubling. Madeira cannot survive without tourism, but it does not give the right to some “tourists” to do everything they want without respecting our nature and local laws. Not only puts in question the destination Madeira for the next generation of visitors as those who work directly and indirectly in tourism.
All stories have two or more versions. We believe that those who do not comply and respect Madeira are not the only guilty ones. There is a lack of local authorities to act and raise consciousness as we educate children, imposing simple and basic rules, but also creating alternatives depending on the situation. Without action, what took decades to achieve will be quickly taken away and destroyed, just like how fire destroys what it comes across.
