Undoubtedly, flower festival is the greatest promotion of Madeira. Madeira's diverse flowers can be showcased through an allegoric flower parade, which began in 1979 on the island of eternal spring. It is important to say we need to import the majority of the flowers used for this occasion. An extensive program, from the 1st of May to the 25th, which is being a huge success.
