Safari means passing through places/roads where it is not possible with normal vehicles (rental cars), minibus or bus. Pico do Areeiro is the most popular place to see the sunrise but due 1818 meters of altitude and because it is very popular place the access sometimes is complicated due the immense vehicles up there. Prickly Cardoon - "Cynara cardunculus" Madeira has an immense landscape diversity, this part of the island being drier and more arid where the green preduminate does not exist at all, but we can always find some vegetation or flowers, in this case Prickly Cardoon - endemic of Madeira and the Canary Islands.
